The ridge overlooking the homelands of the goblinoid hordes and their almost limitless thirst for conflict and blood is a vital strategic point, constantly being overrun and retaken by the forces which watch over these lands. Volcanically speaking, one of the less active areas of the region, it's the only place where outsiders have managed to hold on a regular basis. Sadly, now it seems that the ridge has been taken by the goblinoids, no doubt in preparation for some offensive into the heartlands.
